Why do you think spanish is important ?

1) 400 Millon people speaks the language
2) Spanish speakers love parties and dancing (Tango, Salsa, etc.)
3) Spanish is easy to learn
4) Many countries in America and Europe speaks the language

    The "easiness" of learning spanish depends on what your native language is.

    I think it is important becuase being able to speak the language allows those of us in "first world" countries to have a better understanding of hispanic culture and actually grasp what the effects are of globablization.

      I think the hispanic culture and power is like the civilizations it comes and go...in last century it was hispanic, portuguese and english. Today this is the anglo-americain supremacy and tomorrow maybe the chinese and the spanish again. For the moment, I try to understant this 400 millons of people leaving in the South.
